Description
You are a low-level employee, sorting through a mysterious collection of genetic samples for the Ringo CorpoNation, an oppressive, corporately-owned state. Keep up the appearance of a productive citizen, whilst aiding a growing rebellion.
History
Early HistoryCorpoNation was first prototyped in August 2020, using Unity. We wanted to create a game loop that humorously recreated the monotony of working life and examined greedy corporate power.
Features
- Memory Game: Earn your living sorting genetic samples. Gain a sense of mastery as you memorise all the unique sample characteristics and manage different escalating situations each working day.
- Dystopian Narrative: Get caught up in a hand-crafted, linear dystopian narrative, working with a rebel faction to uncover the secrets of your situation.
- Desktop Computer: Choose how to spend time away from work. Chat with your state-mandated social cluster. Indulge in micro-transactions in the State-Approved 2D-fighter and Solitaire. Complete corporate feedback surveys. Pay your bills. Read the honest and authentic news. New content for each in-game day.
